Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress who is best famous for her portrayal of the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama, and the medical drama The Resident. Her breakout performance in the role of Eleni andros Cooper in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light was also praised. She was also a part of 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly working on a movie adaptation of Elisabeth KublerRoss's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the pair that wrote the film Immortals. She is also a producer for a new television show named Gods & Heroes.
