David Muir, an American journalist, anchoring the ABC News magazine 20 is most well-known for his role as co-anchor on World News Tonight With David Muir. The most-watched newscast in America is his newscast featuring dramatic footage and animated movements. Made In America was nominated for an Emmy. Prior to taking over ABC World News Tonight he was the primary substitute anchor for his previous anchor Diane Sawyer. ABC News has broadcast many specials during primetime, with the most recent being Breaking Point Heroin in America. The journeys he has taken him on took him to the far corners of the earth including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and many more. He has been awarded multiple Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as honors from the Associated Press.
